I am from Jamaica, and today I am comming from a f Visalus ounders' tour (in Jamaica of course) and I saw 7 BMWs! Yes 7 BMWs! 2 x5s and 5 sedans. 33 others are in the process of getting theirs. Yeah all the way down in little Jamaica! You still asking if Visalus is working?

I have had great results with the Visalus Vi-Pak. I joined the business to share the vi-pak with others and I enjoy having a positive impact on people's lives. The business side is not as easy as I thought it was going to be but it's better than "get rich never". Visalus has a good compensation plan and they have given away over 400 BMW's and the company is only 3 years old as of March 2008.

I've tried the ViSalus Vi-Pak and so far and it's as great as my friends say. It changed how I feel during work and school. Visalus: very great product and income generator

A couple of my family members are involved in Visalus. They tried to recruit me too and I almost joined. After reviewing the compensation plan, checking into Dr. Seidman's website, and having a lengthy conversation with an "expert" Visalus distributor I decided that this was a product-based pyramid scheme and not something I wanted to get involved in. While the product may be okay (I'm not an expert so I don't know whether it is or isn't... I personally didn't feel any different taking it) it is overpriced for the average individual - $125 wholesale cost a month on autoship which is precisely why I was being pushed to get involved as a distributor so the cost of the supplements would be offset by what I was earning. My suggestion to anyone already involved in Visalus or those considering it, take a couple days and check it out thoroughly. Do your homework on pyramid schemes, product-based pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, network marketing, the Visalus compensation diagram and complete Compensation Plan explanation - available from your distributor, and the PowerPoint presentation. Talk to a representative and ask the hard questions - they shouldn't get defensive or hostile if this is a legitimate company. The BMW giveaway is not really a giveaway - the individual "earning" it signs the lease and are legally responsible for paying for the BMW. Visalus sends the individual a check each month they "qualify" and if they don't, they get half the amount - it may or may not be enough to pay the entire lease amount + insurance and guess what, if the individual drops out of Visalus, they still have to pay for the car throughout the remainder of the lease. Just be careful... think the whole thing through... those entering into Visalus in later stages will have a more difficult time finding more distributors to join which is how they make their commissions to offset the cost of the supplements. If you do the math, it only takes 12-13 levels to reach the entire population of the world! This is with just 1 person getting 5 people to join and those 5 people getting 5 more, and so on. The people getting in at the last 2-3 levels spend their hard-earned money while trying to recruit in an over-saturated market. They'll never make any money, just lose it to their Visalus upline. Think about it.

Good to see a fellow Jamaican in the forum. I am from Montego Bay but living in the states now. Visalus has done their homework and your "not-so-good" experience with past programs like the ones you mention should not negatively influence your decision.

I have had my fair share of bad experiences too but I realize one thing, a set-back is a set-up for a come-back and procrastination is the thief of time and acting early is always the way to go. 20 years of research funded by the NIH can't been wrong. You know what I find interesting nowadays..people (me Included) want to see results, we have had enough "testimonials" , they have there place and I know some and I wish all of them were true...But here is what I suggest..and what I am doing and have been doing since I started..Make a copy of your checks, make a folder..and when you need to take it out and show your progress to a potential parter. Just a thought.

Hi Im also from Jamaica and just like most people I have looked into the pro,s and con,s of Visalus. To be honest I dont see anything wrong with Network Marketing, lets face it every major company in the world practices it whether Pepsi, Coco Cola, KFC ,Starbucks, you name it thats what business is, the only difference is how many offer you incentives and how many actually allow you to be healthy and wealthy at the same time. I have just signed up and Im excited about the whole Business even though Im in a so called 9 to 5, Richard has his own views even though they may be negative,but thats what holds most of us back, anyway when Herbalife started some 25 years ago I bet there were people who said it would never work.The world is to big to be tunneled vision.

Hi, I am also a Visalus distributor and was very skeptical of any MLM opportunity out there, even though I had heard the products were great. After much debate, I joined as a distributor. My first observation was that the products were great, I am taking the Vi-Pak and have noticed tremendous results immediately. I also got a family member to try the TSS kit. After struggling with her weight for over 10 years, she has finally been able to lose 15 lbs within her first 2 months with the TSS and exercise. My second observation was that Visalus is still an MLM business and sometimes tough to get your network started. I absolutely HATE calling friends and family to try and get them to join you. What a joke. You do not get a free BMW. You are nutz. It's a car bonus program. We all know what happens here. You get a nice car in which if you meet requirements you get to keep it. The minute your sell your personal car ,,, now your locked into this payment. You do not do the required volume for the bonus ,,, you owe the whole payment yourself. Car bonuses in this industry do not work 98% of the time. the next thing you see is a person with a bus pass once they cannot qulify for these sill bonuses. IT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU!!
Oh and by the way ,,, their pay plan totally reeks. How can you build a business,,,that is your business not theirs. Then you build a Organization which is yours not theirs. that business wouldnt be there if it was not for you building it. Now they create requirements and qualifications to make a percentage of the money you just gave them. and if you work harder next month,,, they will pay you a little more on the money you give them.
You need to max out from the start. all those silly hoops you have to jump through are only their to make the owners a ton of money off of your money.

Like most vitamins and mineral products I do think it is really good because i have tried it. I won't scare persons away from joining but I would ask persons to do their homework and check to see if it is affordable. The compensation plan on Visalus can be Googled and explains everything clearly.

I am from the Caribbean and the insurance and maintainance cost on any luxury vehicle is a lot. Always ask yourself the "what if" questions like,
*what if I lose my job can this be a viable full time business
*what if I qualify for the BMW will I be able to maintain my status or will I be able to afford payments to service the lease, insurance, maintenance along with other daily expenses
*In the Eastern Caribbean a monthly supply of the Vi-pak is $450.00 will you always get persons to purchase

Please ensure any research is done for any business and if you are willing to go ahead, then, best of luck and success all Visalus members.

N.B. Ask the hard questions and dont be fooled with the promise of a free BMW.
