I have discovered a way to make Black Diamond in less than 4 months, you only need to sign up less than 12 distributors and it should never cost you more than $250 total. It is rumored that Kelly Bangart did it this way and I only know of less than 6 people other than myself who are promoting it in this manner.

You know? It is really unfortunate that people feel the need to rip on others. Try the juice.. if you don't like it then move on. There are plenty of people who have tried it and really are feeling better - and in some cases, miraculous. YES MIRACULOUS! When you think about the suffering that chemo therapy and radiation cause, it is a miracle that a juice, of all things, can ease the suffering for someone who is fighting for their life! What if that person was your loved one?
As for the business? Not everyone is cut out to be a business owner. But I applaud everyone who tries. If it doesn't work out, then it doesn't work out. MOVE ON! Just because it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it doesn't work for everyone.
And I would much rather work for myself through an MLM than a traditional company. We have, for too long, placed unwarranted trust in the companies we work for. We think that because we are sincere in our efforts to be good employees, that our employer is just as sincere in looking out for us as our employer. But the truth is the company doesn't care how long you have been there.. or what you have sacrificed.. or that the 401K you have through them is all you have to retire on. All they care about is how much are you going to cost them. When push comes to shove you are out the door with absolutely no control in the matter at all. Your education won't matter, your hard work and sacrificing won't matter.. And, depending on where you live, they don't have to have a reason to hand you your pink slip.
When you are working for yourself through the structure of a good MLM business, you have all the control in your own hands and lots of people to help you. They want to help because helping you helps them. It's a great business model but, as I said before, it's not for everyone. You have to be ok with the ambiguity - the ups and downs of business that are just normal for all business owners. You have to be a self-starter - the responsibilities are all on you and some people don't realize that can really be a load.
So - if you are one of those people, that's ok. It's good to learn that about yourself. But that does not give you the right to lash out at a company that is providing an excellent product to better the lives of so many people and give charitably as they go. MonaVie's M.O.R.E. project is amazing.
For me, MonaVie has been the gateway to some great discoveries about health and wellness. I may not get wealthy, but the wealth of information discovered through MonaVie and people I network with is priceless and has opened new doors of opportunity.

I've tried to find something positive about monavie but I can't find anything except that it's too expensive for juice the company ceo is a crook and nobody except for monavie is making any money. My local emerald made only $250 in commissions last week and he has over in his lesser leg.

This is why I've come to the conclusion that monavie sux.

I believe in the product so much, because when I first taste the active green one, I felt something very wierd in my spine like spirer where crawling it and a hot feeling on it, the same happend the 2nd and 3rd time I tasted; so then I decided to drink it for my health. I been feeling much better Isuffer from a very cronic fibromyalgia a syndrome nerve pain, Iam 24/7 in pain, but thanks to Monavie I could funtion much better, before I have my right side not able to brush my teeth or slice a bread, open a bottle or cut onions or hand whash something but after the drinking 8 botles of monvavie one day I realized I did not have my pain in my right arm anymore, and that I was able to do all the things I could'nt before. I have a lot to talk about Monavie, my Moms' diabetic have improved better, and my nepwe that at 18 month of age was foung with leukemia and was practically living in the hospita and had blood and plaquetes transfusion have'nt been admited since he start drinking the original purple monavie. As for Clearwater mom's statements, she’s right in her statement that Monavie don’t pay on just marketing, shipping from one distribution centre and wholesaler and then, hopefully, on to the final point of purchase.

Rather than mark up occurring between 5 or 6 middlemen as is the case in businesses such as Wal Mart, Monavie's fat compensation plan pays in the vicinity of hundreds and thousands of levels up the line in commissions!!!! And of course they don't need to pay for marketing - Monavie distributors market the product free of charge and in fact, at their own expense!!!

Speaking of 50% commissions paid, are you even aware that over 1/2 of the total commissions paid went to less than 3% of the entire sales force last year and that the remaining 97 % of distributors earned commissions of less than $40 per week??!! Did you know that 87% of the sales force earned zero??!! Nope, didn’t think you did.

Katrina - April has not made any ILLEGAL claims about anything, she has just told her experience with the product, which is totally legal. She did not claim the product did anything she plainly explained her situation. I guess someone needs to explain what making a claim means because you don't seem to understand. An ILLEGAL claim would be telling someone that the product is going to do something for them or that the product can cure or prevent some illness. April did no such thing. So if someone is making false claims it is you, when you claimed that April was making false claims. So who sounds like an idiot now?

Adam - the IDS confirms that there's pretty much little to no chance that you're making a "nett" profit of $100 per week. That is - less the cost of autoship, phone, petrol, tax, tools, training material, the costs of attending seminars. My husband and I are small business owners with up to 42 employees. I can only say that Mona Vie is as professional an organization as it comes. Unfortunately, as in any company, you can get "employees" or "distributors" who do not possess the same level of ethics and standards that then reflect poorly on the product or company. Do not let this happen to you. If you are dissatisfied with any practice related to a Mona Vie distributor or sponsor, find another. As for adding to the cost of the product by offering it through direct marketing, you are fooling yourself if you don't believe you are paying a higher percentage mark-up for your products purchased anywhere else - Wal Mart, supermarkets, and certainly pharmacies. Additionally, any decent sponsor can help you get your juice for free within a week to a month. WalMart has yet to offer me that help with what I purchase from them. All companies need to charge to stay in business. Mona Vie elected to pay 50% - that's right, 50% - of their earnings out to distributors rather than paying for all the middle men - high priced marketing, shipping from one distribution center and wholesaler and then, hopefully, on to the final point of purchase. Department stores mark their merchandise up at least 300%, I have been told by buyers. How do you think they can have sales of up to 75% and stay in business?
That being said, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I try to not allow, however, the actions of one taint me against an entity as a whole.
Mona Vie is definitely not a pyramid. However, I can tell you that any company you work for, certainly is. No one will ever make more than the CEO, who is on top. I, however, already make more than the person that sponsored me into Mona Vie. You should really check it out before you judge. The government has, and Mona Vie passes with flying colors and provides an Income Disclosure Statement as mandated by law. Direct marketing is not for everyone, but that doesn't make it illegal or a sham. Someone who buys a stock and makes a serious profit in a week or even a day is not putting any "hard work" into that, but it's still legit and it's still the American way.
Mona Vie is a phenomenal product and a fantastic company. Just ask Fortune Magazine and Ernst & Young. They don't support scams and pyramids.

Obviously you have never understood the concept of free enterprise, and never had your own business. MonaVie distributors Do work hard, and are paid very well to spread the word. Monavie is the real deal!!! It eliminates joint pain for people who suffer from all forms of arthritis. It has changed the lives of several friends and family members. My 24 year old daughter has suffered from sporadic arthritis for over 10 years. Monavie active has eliminated all the symptoms that comes with this disease. The scientists who discovered this product should be compared with the ones who discovered penicillin. The only problem with Monavie is the way the company markets this wonderfull product. All this does is increase the cost of the product for the end user. Unfortunately, many people who suffer from ailments that Monavie can help will never be able to afford the product. **Because apples are a dry weight item. The average being 150 gms. I discussing the consumption of one single fruit (one apple) in comparison to 4 ounces (fluid) of MonaVie. The bottom line being the total ORAC score and total amount of polyphenols.

**First, you need to know that 29.57 mls. equals one FLUID ounce. 28.35 grams equals one DRY ounce. MonaVie is measured in fluid ounces or in mls. One ml. of MonaVie weighs more than a gram, so the edge in weight goes to MonaVie, not the grape juice.

In other words, if Dr. Schauss had weighed the MonaVie instead of measuring it, the ORAC would be even lower than the 22.81 umoles.

The USDA correctly, weighed each substance tested.

Thank you for bringing up the point that MonaVie's ORAC value is inflated.

So, again. If you ate ONE single apple (red delicious variety) you would consume an ORAC value of 6,413 umoles and 520 mg. of polyphenols.

4 ounces of MonaVie would give you an ORAC value of 2,698 umoles and 175 mg. of polyphenols.

Here's the proper math: MonaVie - 22.81 umoles times 4 ounces times 29.57 mls. (mls in a fluid ounce) equals 2,698 umoles total ORAC.

Care factor is precisely 0 I could'nt care less what food tech says... the truth is that I never claimed that MonaVie Cures anything ... what i did say that it is a great program for Supporting your body to function more efficiently and heal itself ... Great site! Great results on the hits. We started our own blog and just signed up a few weeks ago. I had been getting the pitch from family and friends for over a year and I brushed it off because of the business platform and the cost. I went to church one night after a bad report from the doctor and it came up again. A fellow church member walked me outside and gave me a bottle. I signed up saying it couldn't hurt to try it. I gave my doctor a promise that I would go on Cholesterol and blood pressure medicine if I couldn't get them down in 60 days. Heather, since MonaVie is a low pH product with preservatives, you needn't worry about food poisoning (if unopened). Open a bottle and smell it. If it doesn't smell like vinegar or have a slimy-ropy texture it should be fine.

Can anyone tell me if it is safe to drink Mona Vie after its expiration date, and if so, for how long? I have a couple of cases that have been stored unopened at room temperature that expired in June and July of 1009. Is this safe to drink?

So does Pepsi colada and all the others that use preservatives. It's used to protect the flavor and to enhance the safety of many food and beverges and is appoved by the FDA. When was the last time you heard on any one having cancer caused by preservatives or dying from it? Here's something to think about, the naysayer say there is so little ingredients in Monavie then there must be very little preservative in it.

Kathy, if it's been refrigerated there is little danger that it will make you sick. It may have an off-flavor and/or a ropy texture. This would be do to spoilage bacteria. Shake it up and taste a sip. If it tastes o.k. you'll be fine.

I have an opened bottle of Mona Vie that has been refrigerated since opened but is now expired for five months. Is it safe o drink?

***You are correct that a ml. of water equals a gram. However, the advantage belongs to MonaVie since a ml. of MonaVie would weigh more than a gram, thus increasing the final numbers. If we were to weigh out a gram of MonaVie for the same tests, you would see a decrease in the ORAC, phenolics and other phytonutrients.

I can't find a shred of data to back up your statement. The 4000 to 5000 numbers were likely made up by marketing, because they cannot be verified.

***I never said that you can get the full benefit from one apple. I said that one apple has a much greater ORAC and total phenolics than 4 oz. of MonaVie. Again, you cannot get the full benefit of phytonutrients from MonaVie. Whether you use 19 or 1900 fruits, you still are only consuming 4 oz. of product. There are zero studies that document that 4 oz. of MonaVie contributes anymore phytonutrients than regular produce. Don't be fooled by the exotic names. 4 oz. is 4 oz.

***I'm a little more than a science buff. I'm a food technologist (scientist), and have been for over thirty years. I've worked 5 of those years in a fruit juice lab, so I have a little insight into the industry.

Apples 2 Oranges, Now that I have a little more time, let me finish my thoughts on your post.

Apparently, you have an issue with comparing fresh fruit to fruit juice in terms of the ORAC. Your reasoning seems to be that the analysis would vary considerably due to the age of the product. That's a valid concern, however, the ORAC would drop, not increase with age. So, the USDA data would be valid regardless. MonaVie's ORAC would also drop with age, and since it may not be consumed for over a month from the production date, it would be even more problematic, Fresh fruits start off with a much higher ORAC and are usually consumed within days from picking.

However, if you want to keep this only about juices, we can do that. As you pointed out, the ORAC score is only one test utilized to determine antioxidant bioavailability. It so happens, that it is the only one that AIBMR tested for in the product analysis. That is a limitation on their study, and basically their error not to test other bioavail indicators.

The study conducted by UCLA (http://www.pomwonderful.com/pdf/Antioxidant_Beverage_Study.pdf) was much more thorough than the AIBMR study.

They not only tested the various juices for ORAC, but also for DPPH, FRAP, and TEAC.

If MonaVie wants to backpeddle from their ORAC boasts, they need to do a new study using the same testing as UCLA. Otherwise, ORAC is the only bioavailability indicator that can be documented. You can also view the total phenolics (Polyphenols - all plant-based antioxidants combined) AIBMR lists it as 1.48 mg/ml. UCLA also lists the total phenolics of the various juices.

Reviewing the UCLA study, we find that MonaVie would rank between black cherry juice and blueberry juice for ORAC, and between orange juice and cranberry juice for total phenolics.

this simply confirms my point that, that comparing an apple to monavie is really the same as comparing apples to oranges. even monavie itself says that 4000-5000 is an average ORAC for this very reason.

i would also not doubt that each one of those fruits on the USDA chart were tested immediatly upon being picked from the tree to get the "best" scores though not realistic. since most of us dont have apple trees in our back yard to eat the fruit fresh. and we all know that, the longer a fruit is disconnected from the tree, the more loss there is in antioxidants and nutrition. ie thats because its dieing. it is a scientific fact that plants not connected to the parent, will die.

in conclusion (or at least until i find some more supporting statements), monavie works. kind of like faith. even scientists havent been able to completely explain why it works. personally, as long as its benefiting me (and thousands of others as seen from their testimonies), and i feel the effects, id prefer to go with that. i'd wager to say that its because they are making a tremendous effort to give back to the planet and the people (wwww.themoreproject.com). whether you want to believe it or not, as oxymoronic as it sounds giving opens the doors for one to become successful. I think Monavie has proven that.

To Food tech:
On multiple sites you are working hard to bring down Monavie. Here are some other facts you may not have looked into.

1. You stated:
MONAVIE: ORAC: 22.81 umoles/ml
Total phenolics (all plant-based antioxidants combined): 1.48 mg/ml

FUJI APPLE: ORAC: 25.89 umoles/gm.
Total phenolics: 2.10 mg/

The problem is that you cannot compare milliters and milligrams. Liters is a unit of volume and grams is a unit of weight. So your numbers cannot add up. 1 millilter of pure water weighs 1 gram. This is much thicker than pure water!

2. Monavie ORAC score averages 4000-5000 per 4oz. the ABIMR test is an average. Do we need to discuss the term averages? ORAC scores can vary depending on when it was tested, how it was tested, and just the overall content of the fruit at the time.

3. Simply comparing a fruit or juice based soley on the ORAC score to determine complete nutritional value is not really worthwhile. In fact, the same scientists that you put down say that.

You seem to be a science buff so i am sure you have a handle on all the scientific jargon but for the rest of us, in layman's terms it means that the combination of fruits found in the juice have health benefits greater than those of the inidvidual fruits. (the old adage, it is more than the sum of its parts).

4. Therefore, you cannot get the full benefit of nutrition from just one apple; thats why the world has a VARIETY of fruits, because we need more than just one kind. they all contribute something different. (kind of like people)

Also a note to Julia James Thomas---yes, there are a representative 7 at the top ranks in Monavie because those are the ones who've put the most work into this and followed the plan.
And Kudos to those 7. It just goes to show, that many people want the money, but no one wants to work; its easier for many to find an excuse and quit! and that is exactly what they will do with every other great opportunity that comes to them---quit when they have a bad day. We are a society of quitters. Everyone wants a free lunch!

A large majority of people will just drink the juice and not attempt to become an active distributor. And another large majority will give up because they had a bad day or a bad week. And then a small handful will actually make it because they decided to stick with it no matter what; and they will be the millionaires that everyone else is wishing they could have been.

Hello Dale. That is very cool to hear. For me I been a distributor now in the business for little over a month. I havent had alot of success at all but we got a good team and my so called mentor is really helping me and bringing me people that he signs up under me or under another person on our team. I am qualified and should be seeing the team comissions rolling in this week.

But so far, what we or I been doing is paying first month for people. That seems to get them in but hopefully they stick with it and continue and able to get some themselves but if not, we have great team members who are able to help each other get members for each other. Its a great thing to be feel not alone. It has cost me quite a bit to start but that is expected from any business. Just hopefully very soon be starting to come out ahead and starting making some decent money.

I got violently ill, vomiting severely soon after drinking the Monavie with glucosamine, two different times. At first I didn't realize it was the juice. My doctor said it was OK to drink the juice. The answer is it depends on what people want. Some for the product and it's benefits, others for the MLM side, most do get on board for both aspects.

I always find out what they want up front, if it's product only I set them up on auto ship so the product shows up without any fuss and set their back office so they do not get a bunch of promotional e-mails and things they don't want. It is interesting that after a while I usually get a call that they are ready to go with the business side, most often after they take a look and see they already have a down line growing, because even if they are not building the business, me and the people placed under them are.

I have better, more recently updated info on the several questions that you have related to us all.
As far as how to take the active and/or pulse, simply open the bottles, take a large syringe and suck up about 2 ounces, then adminsiter 1 drop every 3 minutes thruout the entire day. Be sure to keep both bottles in the new R2uNiversal approved plutonium lined cooler bag for the entire shelflife of the bottle, otherwise they may go sour, ferment & turn into motoroil.
For your mothers arthritic conditions I would recommend pouring about 6 cases of mvactive into the bathtub and letting her soak for about 20 days. You might try mv pulse for your father, but the jury is still out on that one.

What I do is mix 2 Oz Active and 2 Oz Pulse in a coffee cup, twice daily to get the benefits of the glucosimne in the Active and the heart healthy plant sterols in Pulse. Sounds like from you post it would probably be a good idea to check with your doctor.

As a rule of thumb, of course there are exceptions to any rule, it's children under 12, nursing mothers and pregnant women all use Original as the bones and joints of the child / fetus are still developing thus the glucosimne is not a good idea, over 12 everyone goes on Active and over 30 add Pulse.

Also the Emv energy drink is a nice boost when I feel like a little pick me up around lunch time.

Emv is short for Energy Mona Vie, they just made available for distributors in the US, I just noticed you have a reference to Canada on your post so it may not be available in your area just yet. "Roll Out" is a slang expression for introducing a new product to the market place.

I hope the other information I posted is beneficial to you, really it is all in the comp plan in the Mona Vie back office.

I try to keep the initial start up costs down to a minimum for my personally sponsored people and only recommend information sources that will get them started the right way.

Your question about the additional business centers is rarely asked by a new person as the first one is awarded at the Hawaiian Blue Diamond level and the other two come in at the Black Diamond levels, I thought you were a seasoned net worker.

I guess nobody really want's to take a stab at the BC2, BC3 or BC4 question.

OK here goes, once the comp plan is maxed out in your BC1 at $10,000 at per week the company will add up to 3 additional business centers all of which have the maximum potential of $10,000 each from the team commissions or the 5th way of earning income in the comp plan an. The original BC 1 would be kinda like a 1st leg and the other ones would be kind of like additional "Profit legs" thus also benefiting you in the ECM's and the Diamond and Black Diamond pool's. It goes into much further detail in the R3PM which is a 2 to 5 year business planning manuel also available at R3 Global, due to it's cost I would only recommend it to someone who views this business as a career and has the full intention to build it to the point of full time only after reaching the Black Diamond levels.

To expand in what B of VA suggested, great answer, by the way, other than putting your family and closest friends on the "Power leg" and everyone else on the "Profit leg", in the end you still want at least 20 personal people to the left and 20 personal people to the right.

I would suggest anyone just getting started take a look at and follow the MAP or Maximum Action Plan, there is a CD also available for training purposes which goes into all that in greater detail. They are available at R3 Global, this is probably the most effective and least expensive tool to get started the right way. A step up from that would be the 48 hour pack which contains a few sales tools in addition. I would not recommend anything further at this time due to the Emv roll out as I would expect they will be updating the tools in the near future.

At our level we only get paid on the weaker leg so that is where you want to be building. The other leg is built from above. Of course we have to be qualified in both in order to be paid but the volume will be held for you as long as you have your 100 per month in your personal center even if you don't qualify in each leg. That was nice with Monavie added that safety net.

The chart that you mentioned, lists ORAC scores from the USDA ORAC Table of Selected Foods (2007)

The table that you indicated, did not show how the units were expressed. The ORAC scores are umoles per 100 grams. To compare to MonaVie, you must first divide by 100 (or simply, move the decimal point to the left two places.)This will show the listing as umoles per gram.

MonaVie has an ORAC of 22.81 umoles per ml (AIBMR study sponsored by MonaVie)

This would place it, in ORAC rankings, on page seven, between Cereals, granola (22.94 umoles/gm) and Red Cabbage (22.52 umoles/gm)

As you can see, there are many, many foods with a higher ORAC score than MonaVie.

Hi, I need some help..... My husband and I joined MV a few months ago we have not gone on autoship yet just due to he is the only income we have I am a stay at home mommy (no money there but a world of love and happiness) SO we have one on our left and he is on autoship but only got gel packs so I guess from what we were told he doesn't count. We have 2 on our right and one is on full 2 case autoship. Now our up-line is family. and they live in Avon Lake ohio. We live in Zelienople PA. We are 2 hours away from them. They go to things ALL THE TIME.... But we are just unable to drive like that on a daily basis. Now on Sat I'm not sure if anyone here reading this went but there was a BBS in Columbus OHIO..... We decided to go...As crazy as that sounds we Woke up at 3:30 in the Morning and left the house at 5am to be in Columbus by 10am our older boys stayed with my mother and we brought the baby because she is just to young yet to be left. So we got there with our Sponcers and we sat in the front right behind the people who were running the meeting. I was a bit worried about this but it actually worked out well. The baby was not bothering anyone because we were in front of everyone. Now she was not being loud and with everyone screaming anyway no one would have heard her and no one did! So about a half hour in to the meeting she was just about a asleep and she stirs a bit b4 she falls asleep but again she was NOT bothering anyone. We were sitting behind Charlie Kalb he was running the meeting. He turned around to me and said maybe I should take her to the back. This UPSET ME GREATLY! I may have over reacted a bit but I still was very hurt. So I told my husband that we should just leave and I walked out. If she had been making a fuss bringing her to the back would have distracted more people anyway. I am writing to ask if there are any PENNSYLVANIA PEOPLE OUT THERE!!!!! We woukd like to find things closer. My husband and I have decided that I should stay back with our kids and he will do more of the business end till they get a little older. How ignorant can you be?
You say it's silly for monavie to formulate an energy drink because the bottled monavie already gives you energy?
Have you ever stopped for a moment and used what little brain matter you many have and understand that for those who don't drink anything like a monavie product, but insist on drinking an energy drink, they may try monavie energy, see that it works as well as any other energy drink, but actually TASTES better than the rest? Are you forgetting that ALL businesses exist to make money? Do you realize that adding an energy drink to the existing line will create NEW AWARENESS to the original product?

Most of us distributors know what healthy is and have no need for the energy drink, its people like you that feel the need to drink your coffee that we are trying to help get healthier. Anyone who still does not have a copy of the Chormadex test done this spring, on two unopened bottles of MonaVie, provided by a still-pro-MonaVie distributor, directly to the lab are welcome to contact me. Keep in mind this test is 2X as favorable as MonaVie’s own limited test done through AIBMR using 12 healthy adults and measuring antioxidant levels at only the 2 hour marker….using 2-4X the recommended serving size of 1-2 ounces. Regardless, get both reports. Compare, ask the company direct why there’s such a difference and why MonaVie’s tests are worse than the one done this year.

Of course no one's telling anyone a certain shade of lipstick, egg whisk, or burp-sealed container will help them maintain an erection, resolve their child's asthma, stop insomnia, heal damaged disks and nerves or any of the other lies spread by MonaVie distributors.

Read the MonaVie income disclosure statement....there are 7 people maintaining their positions at the top....not a representative 7 but s-e-v-e-n. The average earning for everyone who is actively a distributor (not counting the ones who've fallen off the reservation or never took hold), the average earnings counting EVERYONE who counts as a distributor is less than $3,900 a year!! That’s before one cent spent on traveling, meetings, business cards, brochures, literature, computers, Internet, storage, or the product cost itself.

The company and distributors are hoping, praying, counting on the fact you won't read it and if you read it this scam depends on enough of you letting some side-show sub-prime juice hawking dream pimp mislead you, sway you, and convince you what you're reading is not what it says.

Before you get involved with MonaVie, please do your own scientific research. I had an independent lab test MonaVie Active. It found polyphenols at 2.91 mg/ml. (Polyphenols are the antioxidants that MonaVie claims is equivalent to 9 to 13 servings of fruits)

This equates to 344 mg. per 4 ounces of MonaVie.

A glass of cranberry juice contains 402 mg of polyphenols (UCLA, Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry)

The report also found 0.095 mg/ml of anthocyanins. This is very low. Anthocyanins are the predominant antioxidant in acai.

The People that hate testimonials about healing, better health etc. have an issue. I just hope that the FDA wont stop me from saying I went to the store bought some fruits made some juice and drank it and now I'm healed from a disease. Some evil wicked people hate, God, miracles, healings and people getting their health back so beware of what you say, some wicked person may kill you for giving people hope.

I've been drinking Monavie for the last year and a half and have been thru several life changing events in that time period, along with the regular bouts of depression. Thank God for the juice. You do not necessarily need to be sponsored by someone there locally. Just make sure that you have a GOOD sponsor that isn't going to sign and ditch you and they will direct you to all of the information that you need. For every group there are numerous websites that provide lots of information, a good sponsor will even track down a tasting party and training group for you, regardless of where you are. A good sponsor helps you go "star" and checks up with you regularly. MonaVie is such a great and supportive team, if you find yourself a good sponsor, you will do great! I wish you look with your future in MonaVie! You will be so glad that you became a part of this business enriching people's lives!

You do realize that what happened to you was actually a kidnapping.
Personaly, I would have walked out the door when I found out what was going on, telling my so-called 'friends' to f--k off & never call me again.

Ok so I went to a MonaVie meeting for the first time a few days ago. I was pretty much forced to go because my friend and her husband drove me there but never told me where we were going until we got there and I couldnt leave. I decided to give it a chance, to have a open mind and to listen to what Mark and Jen Paul had to say. The thing that surprised me the most....was that everyone is supossed to be selling this juice because it is good for you and that it supresses certain ailments but after listening further.....I realized that everyone really was just trying to make money off this. They really werent concerned about making people lives better or making them healthier....it was really more about the buck. I really hope for all of you who are doing this, that you are doing it for the right reasons instead of the bad. And for those of you who are just out there to make some quick money, I hope it works out for you because the meeting that I went to was kind of culty and a little bit scary. Hopefully everything goes the way that is the right way and that noone gets screwed over in the process.

This is my first time on the blog. I love to hear how MonaVie is helping people in countless ways. I have been drinking MonaVie for almost a year now. My brother is a Monavie distributor and has been for about a year. He was in Team first which was doing Quixtar and then switched to Monavie when Amway came in the picture. He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure 4 years ago and has had sarcoidosis of the lungs since he was a kid. My brother swears by Monavie, telling everyone about it, signing people up left and right, making very little money and still has congestive heart failure, sarcoidosis, and has to wear oxygen everyday. He is 44 years old. He is spending his hard earned and fought for money on this stuff. He filed for Social Security Disability benefits because he can no longer work due to his illness. It's just fruit juice, people. If you are expecting miracles, pray to God, not Monavie.

Can you cut and paste an entry (or link but I don't know if that is possible). I searched and searched and did NOT find any paks for $35.

The reason they are so cheap is because there isn't much payout, the volume is cut. But it is an ideal way to share Monavie and people love ordering them. Even though the shipping is free they are rushing them which is nice. In the beginning it took 7 or so business days to receive. But now they come in 2 days. That is outstanding. A real service of Monarch. That probably won't be true after Christmas. But they are trying to accomodate our needs.

Monavie is an excellent product, makes an excellent gift and is provided by a great company. I am at my one year anniversary and am very grateful to have been turned on to it. I searched for two years for an acai product I could trust. I learned about acai soon after it hit the health news.

OK that's fine but if someone on here talks about relief of some kind and it's "making claims"and "fda".Now I work in the safety industry and would never even recomend any drug more than aspirin, but juice?
I personally laughed at the idea of this stuff being anything more than an mlm.Only problem is after a few weeks (I didn't keep track of the date because I didn't expect anything at all)I actually started to get a nights sleep.I am going to be 32 years old in a couple of weeks and have sufered from this since I was a kid.I changed nothing in my life other than drinking this juice and there is no way juice would have any effect.So why did I all of a sudden start sleeping, no sleeping pills,no sleepless nights, no being tired all of the time.But I can't even tell my friends right? On the other hand, stating that MonaVie has a patented process, that's a lie. Alluding to income potential beyond MonaVie's federally mandated disclosure statement is again a lie.

91% of all MonaVie distributors are classified by the MonaVie Corporation itself as "wholesale consumers" who don't qualify for true commissions, but instead get as much as $59 a week in reduced product purchasing power. Now, that's a fact. There is no disclosure by the MonaVie Corporation as to the amount of acai in MonaVie. That is also a fact.

Laboratory studies on production samples (vs. those that may be planted by someone wanting to skew the results - i.e., the company) prove the ORAC is less than apple juice. The nutrition is higher in Tropicana Orange Juice and Welch's Grape Juice. Both of those, along with Knudsen's and V8 Fusion cost about $3 for 32-46 oz. vs. MonaVie's 25.5 oz. for $40. Even if you're paying $25, that's about $22 too much!! I'm not promoting any one product, there are a plethora of equal and better nutritional supplements. Take your pick!

MonaVie certainly has enough positive cash flow, many times over, to order independent, controlled studies, doesn't it? Why don't they? If they have, where are the results? If they haven't, why not?

Distributors and up line managers keep posting that there is a patented process. This is not true. The company applied for a patent but the patent was denied. Period. Anyone who tells you differently is mistaken at best or lying. What is the patent number of the process that MonaVie holds?

I have NEVER been involved in any MLM, MonaVie, or any other MLM ever in my life. I'd never heard of the scam until on or about the 19th of November. I read the claims, though. I read about cures and heard the pitches of up line managers who I already considered morally bankrupt, ethically retarded, and without concious. That caused me to do the research I did. When I learned the true facts of the company, the product, the compensation plan, I was aghast. I could hardly believe that in this time of dire economics that a company was being allowed to operate, profiting on the backs of so many vulnerable people.

I am successful in my chosen industry. It's going to sound as though I'm breaking my arm trying to pat myself on the back, but I am extremely well thought of in my field. I'm called on regularly by reporters to provide information for various newspapers and other publications. I have provided expert testimony in a number of cases. I built my own business by being ethical, honest, and very hard working.

Please, ask BJ to provide whatever proof he can muster to support his outrageous, outlandish claims. He will not, because he cannot.

The third week of November I was approached by a friend who had been approached by an up line manager I considered to be morally bankrupt. I decided to run the whole thing to ground. Why in the world wouldn't more of you do some research yourselves?

What Food Tech and the others who are speaking out (but just barely it seems), are saying is correct. Without the amount of acai and with the great number of other fruits there could be scant acai in a serving...and it's a serving, not a dose. It doesn't cure anything. It's FRUIT JUICE.

The labeling is deceptive especially coming from a company which advertises itself as the helpmate to the masses. It may not HAVE to be more transparent, but it should be.

The compensation plan is on the friggin' company Web site. READ IT!! SHARE IT!! UNDERSTAND IT!!

Over 91% of all distributors are classified by the company as only "wholesale distributors", receiving no commission checks whatsoever, and "earning" no more than $59 a week in discounted product purchasing ability.

If you're going to start a business doesn't it behoove you to have it checked out by a professional? If you don't understand it, isn't it a good idea to go see a CPA?

Do this! Check with a bunch of tax preparers and see how many of them do taxes for other people who've succeeded at MonaVie....how about MLM's in general?

There IS no pattened process. Food Tech is right again. The patent was denied three years ago. Check it out for youselves. Don't you owe it to your customers to be the best informed sales persons possible?

Can anyone provide some guideance/experience regarding strategies to place MonaVie within business establishments. As I'm sure many already know, there is an opportunity to place the product with those that own service businesses, including: Salons, Spas, Massage Theropists, Chiropractors, Real Estate Brokers, Health Shops, Fitness Centers, Pilates and Yoga Trainers, Nutritionists, etc..... Given the fact that the new year is upon us, many people are going to be health conscious with their New Year Resolutions. **Really?? Did you know that the test done on MonaVie that revealed it had such a high ORAC score was done by a contract lab? AIBMR Life Sciences is a contract lab.

The difference is that MonaVie corporate provided 7 doctored samples to AIBMR.

ChromaDex received their samples from field distributors (actual production samples).

The production samples had lower levels of antioxidants (acai berries big selling point) than apple juice.

Greetings from Santa Rosa, California!!! Business is booming!!!! Here in wine country we are jacked on this amazing product and changing lives a bottle at a time. My ex wife finally started finally drinking Monavie and it totally changed her health. She has type 2 diabites and since she started drinking the juice she has lost 15 pounds,2 dress sizes, and doesn't have back pain any more. She was very negative at first about the product and laughed at me but now she telling everyone about the juice!! Fisrt off there are many people that simply do not understand that it is not Monavie that does the magic you hear about but it is simply great nutrition that will then let the body heal itself.You don't need this product, you can spend $10 a day or more for 13 servings of fruits and vegetables and get the same effect.Monavie is just a less expensive way to get those servings, these will not go bad and get tossed out.You also don't get the lovely choice of a banana, apple or orange.

You know Ive been seeing alot of negative remarks about Monavie and you know competition is Tuff out there let me tell you. Its really hard to stand up to a company as Awesome as Monavie. Let me explain why you're such a dummy. Firstly, if you consider Monavie to be "snake oil", that is actually a good thing for Monavie.
Here is an excerpt of its definition:
Snake oil originally came from China, where it is called shéyòu (蛇油). There, it was used as a remedy for inflammation and pain in rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis, and other similar conditions. Snake oil is still used as a pain reliever in China. Fats and oils from snakes are higher in eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) than other sources, so snake oil was actually a plausible remedy for joint pain as these are thought to have inflammation-reducing properties. Snake oil is still sold in traditional Chinese pharmacy stores.

So you're really doing Monavie a service. Thanks for doing it so well.

Secondly, concerning the FDA. The USDA and the FDA, both, have concluded that a person taking a product which contains .4 grams of plant sterols TWICE A DAY, along with a low fat, low cholesterol diet, can reduce the risk of heart disease and reduce cholesterol.
Let me just add this personal note. Upon my own research (which apparently you know nothing about) (found on WebMd) in order for a human to consume 2 grams of plant sterols per day, he would have to consume approximately 100 pounds of fruit. If this is the case, according to MY math, a person would have to eat 40 pounds of fruit to get .8 grams of plant sterols. (Monavie contains .8 grams in just 4 ounces)

I won't give you concrete answers to your questions but I WILL offer my opinions based on what I've learned.

1. Yes, when you achieve the rank of black diamond you're allowed an approved website other than the replicated website which is approved for all lower ranks. The way I see it, if you've worked your way up to BD, you've "earned" that right. I think it's fair.
2. Play the game? It's not a game, and if someone feels that it's a game and not a job, they should get out.
3. Recently, all replicated websites were standardized and do not include the link to "my story". Also a good thing they did because too many distributors seemed to be mis-representing the MonaVie name by making claims which is NOT supposed to be done. This was another good move as far as I'm concerned.
4. Orin Woodward didn't become your upline. He simply advanced in rank in a hurry. When he joined, he brought many others with him. He produced more than most people did in the shortest amount of time. The fact is he achieved the ranks higher than others because of that, and received the bonuses that you or I would have earned if we were as fortunate as he was. The bottom line is, if you produce more than someone else, you're compensated more than someone else. I also consider that fair. It proves once and for all that this is NOT a pyramid. In fact, it is the fairest form of business in the world. That is my opinion.
All we need to do is continue working hard, not quit, and we will get wherever it is we want to be. It will NOT be overnight.

I have had several run-in's with Mona Vie.

They state that they want everyone to have a level playing field and that only black diamonds can have a website.

Everyone has their own area of expertise, their own skills. We used the ones we had and were finding it was working for us.

With their abrasive Compliance people. It's difficult to play the game when they change the rules while you're playing.

We used to have a website and had specific permission from them to use their name in the site. Now that's no longer allowed. OK, so we removed any reference to Mona Vie. NOW we have to change the name of the site? We can't have ANY ingredients that are in Monavie as part of the domain name.

I thought the name of a fruit was public domain? How can we be restricted like that? I have removed the site pending renaming the domain name to something totally innocuous.

Our website didn't sell anything, we had a closed blog (much like this one, but smaller) some information about the product. eg. what vitamins etc. (from Mona Vie) and a calendar for local events.

I have come to the very real acceptance that there are two types of people in this industry. I put them into two broad categories but they are the ones who are Readers and the ones who do not read. This is very basic i know, but from what i have been seeing in my and others businesses, the ones who flourish are the ones who stay motivated by reading books that help keep your mind in the right place.

3: You win by being right. This person is usually an expert in a specific field like a professor, lawyer, or a wife. (Just kidding ladies! ?). People who win by being right, don’t accept criticism and aren’t open to new ideas.

They tend to reach a glass ceiling when it comes to money, their career, and relationships, because they can’t accept their short-comings in order to move past them and achieve personal growth. Arguing with this person never works because they’ll always find a way to prove you wrong, even if it means sabotaging your company in the process.

In order to win, this person must be right.

4: You win by winning. This person is an achiever. Their primary motivation is to win. They are very competitive, and will do whatever it takes to win. They won’t quit, and they’ll constantly push themselves to gain the edge they need.

This category describes all successful entrepreneurs and athletes. Winning is their reward, and on the dark side, some of them will go too far and compromise their integrity in order to do so. Key Lay of Enron is a great example.

This type of person doesn’t care if others don’t like them, and they welcome discomfort because it provides them with new opportunities to win.

This is how Robert wins, and looking at my past, this is how I win... Two State Championships in cycling. The #1 marketing system in the industry. Millionaire before 30. I win, by winning. I am constantly evaluating and improving myself, and will do whatever it takes, (with integrity), to be the best. Period.

5: You win by losing. This person wins by being a victim. They want sympathy from others or their spouse. Just when things start to get better, they will sabotage themselves, and say, “I knew it wouldn’t work”, giving them their victory once again.

There lives are always filled with problems because they don’t win unless they lose, so they create circumstances and excuses that help them fulfill that destiny like, “Your book won’t teach me anything new. I don’t have the money. This is just another scam. I’ll give it a try…”

Now if you’re like me when I was exposed to this, you’re taking a long hard look at your life right now.

It really amazes me that people have the nerve to bash a products name and ruin peoples dreams without letting them experience and try for themselves.

Sorry just because you may have joined Mona Vie or any mlm and you didn't make any money doen't mean that it doesn't work. You actually have to try and keep at it.

The people that are on here with there negative comments are probablly the same people who buy an exercise bike to get inshape, put the bike in their basement, then sell it at a garage sale next year. Then they say oh that thing don't work.

It seems many people are getting the wrong idea here.Monavie is not a drug therefor it is not intended to "cure" anything.The concept here is that if you give your body the nutrition it needs it will repair itself.Anti-oxidants, vitamins, these are lacking in the everyday foods we eat.When I stated drinking the juice my chronic back pain stopped after a couple of weeks, and I can tell you that after ten years with back pain I was thrilled, but it was not Monavie that made the pain stop, it was just my body flushing all kinds of crap out of my system.Some people have said to me that this is all in my mind, well it has been close to a year and to me that is worth the couple of bucks a day.I also have no more sleep troubles which plagued me for most of my life.
Now am I getting rich? No I still have a day job, but really how bad is it that I tell a few people every week about the juice and when they sign up to buy their own at wholesale I get paid.I tell people about the "thin-crust" pizza parlor that I love and they never give me a red cent.I tell people about bands that I listen to and the record company doesn't pay me squat either.So a couple of hundred a month for doing nothing more than talk? Monavie is a disgrace. Why sell a product through an MLM? Monavie will say it's all about the people. Really? All about the people. Then why put Sodium Benzoate in your product? Sodium Benzoate has been positively linked to Parkinson's disease and a number of Neurodegenerative diseases. Coca Cola, a company that doesn't really care about your health, has removed it from their products because it's terrible for you. And before people tell me that it's a naturally occurring thing in fruit, yes I know. But not in the quantities required to be a preservative. And when preservative quantities of Sodium Benzoate are combined with Vitamin C it can form Benzene a known carcinogen. This happens when the product gets warm and sits on the shelf for a while yet Monavie has a year before it expires, but I'm sure they care about your health. Do your research. Why would a "healthy lifestyle" company put something this nasty in their product. The answer is quite simple really but it might be difficult for your distributors to swallow. They DON'T CARE about your health. They want your money, period. Dallen Larsen's last MLM was shut down by the FDA for false health claims and it's only a matter of time before Monavie is shut down. And hopefully people will go to jail. MLMs are shady in general but health focussed MLM scams that prey on sick people making claims of providing some type of health benefit are just completely immoral and sad. Anyone involved in this company should get out now. I don't know how you can live with yourself. If you want nutrition go to a store and buy fresh fruit. Pick up some Glucosamine at a vitamin shop if your joints are aching. Don't ingest something that will damage vital parts of your DNA in your cells mitochondria. This is a SCAM people WAKE UP. Do a quick google search on Monavie Scam and see how they've gone out of their way to flood the results with Monavie distributor pages. If someone has to go over the top to tell you that something isn't a scam, it's probably a scam. Monavie = TOTAL BS. But if you like to sell snake oil to sick people by all means keep doing it. I have been approached many times throughout the years with various network business opportunities, and I have passed on them all. What really bugs me is how distributors can make up stories about making $2200. weekly as gold level executives in Monavie and some newer people to the biz will be gullible enough to believe them.I know several Gold reps. and most every single one of them make approximately $300=$500 per week if their lucky on a good week now that so many distributors have quit because of the over priced juice.A matter of fact two of my good friends on their very best weeks as Golds made only about a $1000 on the best week , many Rubys only made $1500= $1800 at their peak and now are pulling closer to $300 = $700 now on their best weeks since the business started crumbling in Southern California because of saturation.Please note : newer reps really take any outragious income claims with a grain of salt and I mrecommend just consuming the juice for the product and not to get rich, in my opinion this is the only way to go in Monavie because of the poor paying bynary where only 2% of the reps make any money over the actual juice cost and most lose hundreds and sometimes even thousands of dollars and leave the biz scorned ! Wow, really great and informative site, thanks! I just started taking Monavie a couple weeks ago and my back problems have completely went away. That and the fact I know I am getting the equivalent of 13 servings of fruit and veggies with every 4 oz. Afternoon, Im goin to let you all in on my secret of how a 24 yr old built a downline of 673 Distribtors with an average commission of $2200+/week.

Well I came across this post and wanted to point out a few things.

First, artem the answer lies in basic human psychology...

Fact: Attraction is not a choice. It's this biological instict built into us millions of years ago to keep us alive. This survival instinct is built into our psychology.

Let me make this simple...

Back in the "cave man" days, people couldn't survive on their own, so their formed trusting "groups". The leader was usually the strongest mentally and physically in the group. The leader’s primary role was to protect the group, and in return the group would follow him. The group ended up living longer, reproduce, and pass down these survival instincts to their next generation.

This instinct is still very much present in us today as they were millions of years ago, just now represented through different abilities such as education level, monetary means, social status, etc…

Fact: We are wired to find people attractive or un-attractive based on the level of value they have to offer because through association alone we gain power.

Let me give you an example..

Think of a Rock Star and their entourage, those people that associate with that rock star will gain social status through their association. They become more attractive to others because the “outsiders” want in.

Two important lessons:

1: People are wired to be attracted to someone with leadership qualities and can offer a high level of value.

2: If you want to make it big in Monavie or even any MLM for that matter, you must learn to show leadership qualities and offer massive value to others.

I know this is going to piss a few people off but that’s ok im only talking to all the serious people here who are seeking help in building their monavie business.
Not to be harsh, but I want you all to understand.
So why would anyone want to join you guys? What kind of value can you offer to them? Can you show them how to be successful? Can you show them to build a downline? Will you help them someone do a tasting every night if you had to?

Although I am only Gold Executive, for a 24 year old making an average $2,200+ weekly I think is a decent start. By the way I have been giving away all my new sign up for my new reps that join my downline I get an average of 3-7 people emailing/calling me wanting to join. Since working in the pharmacy for 10+hrs I have no time to train and do new rep orientations so it works out that I hand them down to my reps. I have had great results giving away my new sponsors to my new reps because it keeps them motivated and in the business longer becuase they see a return on their money. I dont really care about ranks as long as im getting good money.. call me whatever u want.. lol Anyways… Today is a special day for me because I am stepping away from my pharmacy career that ive been with for over 4 years. Today is submitted my two weeks notice and will be doing Monavie fulltime. Just recently I have been keeping my new signups. I am Ruby qualifications this week and should hit it next week too. I have been taking MonaVie for about a month now. I am so excited to tell you that it has changed not only my life, but my family's life as well.

I am a 21 year old college student at NC State University. I am slightly overweight, and a little bit worried about the direction in which my health could turn in the next 10 years. When I heard about MonaVie through a cousin from Charlotte I was incredibly excited to hear more about it. I went to a tasting with my father who was also interested in what MonaVie could do for his health. My father has high blood pressure, as do I, and we have both been worried about our health. Since drinking the juice, I myself have felt more energetic, more full of life, and more motivated to be healthy. Recently I checked my blood pressure and it is in the "good" range. My father, who has chronic knee problems and who has not been able to run because of them in quite sometime, has not felt his knee problems since about a week after he started drinking MonaVie. He is now, after feeling no pain in his knees and also seeing his blood pressure also drop to a good level, running everyday.

My father and I are so excited to be a part of a very promising team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The business in North Carolina is just getting started, and we truly believe is about to explode.

I am currently living in Raleigh, North Carolina, and hope to be a part of a huge push with MonaVie in Raleigh. The most exciting part about the team I am a part of is the support. I have support anytime I need it, at any hour of the day. Answers to all questions I have had have only been a call away. The Monavie ranking system is not a true measurement of the income levels distributors are making.Example a Gold level only means that distributor met a 5000 point volume on their lesser leg for one 7 day period which is highly misleading , the other 3 weeks they may only be pulling a Star 1000 or Bronze level of income so you can't make ridiculous statements about what the annual income will be.I know Ruby's that made well over $1,000.per week as recently as 8 weeks ago whom are now making as low as $300 per week most weeks and they still at the rah rahs keep putting on a show telling everybody how excited they are !!!! Blue Diamonds claiming they make $7,000. + a week sometimes make as low as $1800. or less some weeks in their 4 week cycle now because of everyone quitting because of the high cost of the juice blend so the ranks can be very misleading to new distributors whom are taught to believe once they earn a high rank they made it=rarely ever happens ! I'm sorry to hear that you QUIT the MonaVie business, but after reading your posts, I can honestly say that I believe that you will NOT succeed in any of your networking ventures. You say you have discovered something even better than MonaVie and your opinion is just that. Your opinion.
But reputable and honest MonaVie distributors such as myself and my team would NEVER stoop to bash someone else's product as you have in your posts.
My team and I, are looking for good and honest people who would like to help us transform the "sickness industry" into the "wellness industry" through prevention. If we follow the plan, the income will automatically come for those who have the vision that me and my team have. Everyone who joins us is treated like a member of our family.

I was recently introduced to MonaVie here in Sacramento Ca by one of the nicest and most genuine people i have met to date. He let me taste the juice. I wont lie I didnt want to taste it really. I do Not even eat fruit at all. So i drank the juice and was supprised to find that it was great. I enjoyed the taste instantly. I knew he had brought me to this coffee shop to talk business not juice. So we started talking about the aggressive compensation plan and the people who have formulated stratedgies to make a lot of money in a short amount of time.
I have been served up a lot of mlm pyramid deals before and im no dummy. I never even gave them a second thought. But this made sense, i could see how money was made and could comprehend the science behind the product. I was in, and I was in on the spot.

i was a severe skeptic of mona vie and all mlm's until about two months ago. i then tried the product and honestly have been seeing results and have changed nothing else about my day to day life. so whether it be placebo or the real deal, it is working for me so that is all that matters.

after seeing the benefits i started looking into the business side of the company and decided to sign up as a distributor. i started about two weeks ago and since have been sharing the product with people and have several people who also are interested in signing up. i have no intent on this making me millions in the next few months but i have a long term goal with the company and i fully intend to continue drinking and sharing the product. sort of like the hare who chose slow and steady to win the race.
